Slow computer performance is one of the most frustrating things that have dealt with me in the past when I first started with my first computer (Laptop).

Delete All your junk files:-

To make my computer faster, the first thing I always do is to get rid of all the junk files I do not really need again.

Some of these junk files include; apps files, downloaded files browsers data like; saved files, cache, cookies and much more.

Apart from deleting junk files on my computer in order to solve the question of how to make my computer faster, I always deletes some of my personal files especially those files I do not really use or need them anymore.

Maintain your hard disk space:-

The second thing I do to make my computer faster is to monitor my hard disk (HDD) space. Nothing between 30% - 60% of used space on your hard disk will slow down your computer performance but if your computer used space is between 60% - 95%, then you are going to experience slow computer performance.

Stop all Background apps from running.

Another thing I discovered as a caused of slow computer performance.

Running or allowing some of your programs to run in the background will lead to slow performance of your computer.

Always try to minimize the numbers of computer programs you use at a particular time to give room on your RAM for better performance of your computer system. How to make my computer faster.

Check software compatibility issues before installation.

At times, we are the reason why our computer system tends to slow down in a middle of operation.

Before installing any operating system or computer programs on your computer, you should always check whether your computer has the necessary requirement for the program you are trying to install on your system before installing it.

Un-compatible software will slow down your computer and sometimes will damage your computer.
