Below are the simple ways to get the information you are looking for in no time:-

  1. MAKE USE OF DATES.

The first thing you should remember when looking for something on the Internet, is to consider the period or dates of the information you are looking for.

Most at times you key in words like Latest Nigeria News thinking you are looking for current news. What Google does with this key words is, it will look through all the articles, blog, web site on the Internet for the following words; without minding the date those information where published.

If you do not include the date or period of the information you are looking for, Google will give you dozens of information which you may end up reading outdated information thinking you are reading the latest news.

To make use of the date, after keying in your search information, click Advance Search Optionand then “Select the period” of the information you want Google Search engine to display. You can select Todayor These weekor Months for recent information.

 2. CONSIDER THE LOCATION.

The second thing you should be careful of is the location or the origin of the information you are looking for. To many people, the location as nothing to do with what they are looking for.

For instants, assume you are running a background check on the even that happens on September, 11, in USA, and you set your location to Nigeria, what the Search Engine will do is, it will run through all the articles, blog, or web site that are Nigeria based thereby giving you limited information.

Always make sure you are looking for the information in the right place. To avoid this problem when searching for information on the Internet, try to make use of the Advance search tools to avoid reading gossips instead of the real information.

3. TRY REPHRASING THE SENTENCE OR KEYWORD(S).

Sometimes the reason why we are not getting what we are looking for is because the words or phrase we are searching for are somehow the wrong ones. For instant, instead of looking for Latest Nigeria News”, try searching for Nigeria breaking news or “Nigeria Tops Stories of the day”.

Learn to twist the search terms or phrase if the first one did not give you exactly what you are looking for.

4. STOP USING GOOGLE START DIRECT VISIT.

This may sound obvious, but it is the real truth. Sometimes we need to know few places to get the information we are looking for without disturbing Google.

For instant, we should always use the YouTube for every video files, Wikipedia for definition, Google Map for location, BBC for latest News, Ebay or Amazon for online shopping, Facebook or Twitter for Social Network, WikiHow for articles on How to.., etc.
