TEN WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR ANDROID’S BATTERY CONSUMPTION RATE BY 50%.

Android battery issue has been one of the biggest problem in the community of android users. Most at times, we find ourselves always disappointed when our android battery cannot carry us through the day without us remembering our charger or where to have it recharge.

Sometimes we cannot even play our favourite video games on the phone just because we fill playing a video games will drastically kill our android battery in no time and that has become a major concern in our lives.

Due to some few complains I have been receiving from some of my
friends especially when chatting with some of them on Facebook about their battery always running down in the middle of very important discussion and sometimes they keep telling me to wait until they get their android phone connected or plugin and charging before they could freely chat with me.

Based on that, I have decided to teach you ten solid ways you can reduce your android battery consumption rate by 50% and I really mean 50%. Below are the things you need to do in order to get your battery to last longer:

GET RID OF YOUR UNUSED CONNECTION.

Very little people know that their android WI-FI, Bluetooth, Data, GPS etc. consumed a lot of their battery. If really you want to reduce your battery consumption rate, then you should only ON or enable you wireless, data or even your GPS when you really need them. You can also try using Flight Mode where your network signals are very low or when you are out of service to automatically stop your android phone from searching for network and only enable the connection you really need to use and disable it as soon as you are done with it. You can download apps like net blocker to help you with your connection issues.

CHANGE YOUR WALLPAPER.

The type of wallpaper you use on your android phone also affect your battery consumption rate. For instance, live wallpaper like animated wallpaper kills or drain your android power than just using a photo. If you are choosing a wallpaper for your android phone, make sure you pick something that will not drain your android battery faster. Always go for something dark and not light because light or a colourful wallpaper also drain android battery faster than a darker wallpaper. Disable screen saver completely on your phone because that also drain your android battery as well.

YOUR SCREEN BRIGHTNESS ALSO KILLS YOUR ANDROID BATTERY.

Most people are fun of increasing their android screen brightness to almost 100% in the day time and to 50% in the night and yet still complain that their android battery drain faster than they can even imagine. Apart from using a dark wallpaper, you should also make sure your screen brightness is always at the minimum to avoid wasting your android battery.

In case you don’t have the time to be changing your android screen brightness to like 30% in the day and 10% in the night, you can enable automatic screen brightness to enable your android phone set your screen brightness automatically without you worrying about changing it yourself. This can also help very well if you are fun of forgetting things like me. Sorry! Just joking.

DISABLE AUTOMATIC SYNCHRONIZATION.

This alone, drain your android battery by almost 30%. Most people use their android phone to chat on Facebook, Whatsapp, Wechat, Google+, 2Go, Yahoo etc and sometimes we allow our android apps to automatically connect to the internet to either fetch our emails, news, weather report, our current location, etc. these thing can drain your android battery faster than you can even imagine. To be on a safer site, try to manually fetch your mails only when you want to read them, or only connect to your favourite chat room only when you want to chat with your friends.

Personal opinion, use your android browser to sign in to your personal chat room or social media, use your browser to check your mails and weather report as well. Disable or stop all the apps you are not currently using them (especially those that automatically connect to the internet on their own) and enable them only when you want to use them. You can download net blocker to block apps from connecting to the internet without you manually allowing them to do so.

ONLY DOWNLOAD APPS YOU REALLY NEED.

I was going through one of my friends android phone when I realised he and about 100 apps installed in the phone that has only 512MB of RAM and he was telling me that his android phone’s battery doesn’t last long. His major problem was that he had a lot of apps that are constantly fighting for space on his android phone. The only thing I asked him to do was to uninstall all the apps leaving only the most important ones. He uninstalled about 85 of the apps he was really very happy when his android phone was lasting longer than expected. The phone when up by almost 38% and that was just uninstalling apps alone. If you are like that friend of mine, you can do the same thing to your phone to speed up your phones.

GET RID OF YOUR JUNK FILES ON YOUR ANDROID PHONE.

Ever wonder why your memory is always showing red even after deleting almost everything on it? That is exactly what I am talking about. Each of your android phone application stored some information on your phone’s memory. Example your android phone browser store your browsed information like your history, saved pages, bookmarked etc. and these contribute to amount of junk files on your android phones. To get rid of these junk files, clear each of your apps data on your app manager by clearing every app data by clicking the app and then click on clear app data.

LOWER YOUR ANDROID C.P.U ACTIVITIES.

Over working your android phone is another reason why your android phone battery doesn’t last longer than you expect it to. To lower your android activities, stop all the apps you are sure you are not using to lower the rate of activities on your android phones. Some of the things you can do includes; lower your time online, lower your time on chatting, lower the time you spent on playing video games like PES2016 etc.

DELETE FILES YOU DON’T USE ALWAYS.

This is the big problem. Many people don’t have the habit of separating with their important files like their favourite music, favourite movies, images or photos etc. if you are one of such people, then my advice for your is that you should reconsider your decision. Take for instance, of what use is an android phone that is very slow in performance and have every single one of your favourite files in it. Sometimes, you need a faster phone than just and hard drive. You can upload your favourite files to Google Drive if you don’t really want to lose them for future retrieval.

RESTORE YOUR PHONE.
As simple as it sound, you can restore your android phone to get rid of all the unwanted files, apps, as well as all the junk files on your android phone.
TIPS: try backing up all your important files first to avoid losing them.

TEST OR CHANGE YOUR ANDROID BATTERY.
Try borrowing your friend android battery to see whether your problem was as a result of using a low battery capacity or already drained battery. If after testing your battery and you discovered that your battery is really the problem, then you should consider changing the battery.
