YOUR FIRST ORDER MAY TAKE TIME.

This is the first thing everybody who wish to sell on fiverr should expect.
Most at time, first seller or new sellers wait up to week or more before receiving their first order or make their first sell on the site.

So if you are new on fiverr, you should not be surprise if you do not get any job quick.

To get pass this problem, it is advised that you ask five of your friends to buy two of your gigs each making the total of ten gigs from your five friends and give you 5-star positive rating. Once you get up ten positive rating from those friends of yours, you will automatically become level 1 sellers in thirty days and will start receiving orders because people hardly buy from people without a positive rating.

You may need to transfer the fund for the two gigs each to your five friends to buy from you. You will lose $10 after that but it is not much compared to what you will be making afterward.

YOUR BUYERS MAY BREAK YOU.

This is the second thing you may likely encounter while selling on fiverr.com. each time a buyer order for your service or gig, he/she may end up not liking what you delivered thereby giving you negative review or thumb down.

Getting a negative review will tell people who view your gig that you are not a promising seller and they cannot trust you to deliver a gig in time or in good quality.

To get pass this problem, try offering 100% money back to any of your buyers who feel your delivery was not satisfactory so that you can cancel the order anytime they feel they don’t like your service and get 100% refund of their money and to get rid of the negative review they created.

YOU MAY NOT GET ORDER FOR SOME GIGS.

This happened to most people on the platform sometimes. You setup a gig thinking many people will be interested in it, after getting more view on the gig, nobody ended up buying or ordering for the gig.

One of the simple reason is that your gig is not yet on sell at the moment. This happen mostly to gig like seasonal ones such as “I will design a mother’s day card for you for $5”, you should not expect this gig to sell any other day apart from mother’s day.

To get pass this problem, try to edit your seasonal gigs each time the season passes to the upcoming ones.

And if your gig is not a seasonal gig, and does not make any sell, try tweaking the gig a little to see whether there will be order. If you don’t get order after tweaking it, just know that your gig is not yet on sell at the moment. This happen with our traditional business as well.

YOUR PAYMENT MAY GET DELAYED.

The first time I join fiverr.com, my first though was that as soon as I delivered a gig, I will get paid instantly and have the money withdrawn to my account or PayPal immediately, but that was not the case at all.

If you are also coming in with the same thought, I will advise you to be careful because a big surprise await you.

Sometimes it takes up to 14 days before getting your earning cleared for withdrawal.

The important thing is that once you delivered, be sure that you will definitely get your money for the gig delivered whether or not the buyers like the gig you delivered or not.

YOU MAY GET SUSPENDED OR BANNED.

Though fiverr is an easy place to make chicken change for yourself, you should remember that the website has some rules that everybody either buyers or sellers most abide by it or else you get kick out or suspended from selling or buying from the platform.

To avoid this from happening, try by all means to read the fiverr’s Terms and Condition very well before getting onboard in order to avoid being a victim in the near future.

Remember, once you get kick out, all your earning will be taken away from you if you break their rules.

My advice here is that you should try and withdraw your earning in time as soon as it get cleared to PayPal to avoid being deprived of your earning when you start breaking their rules.
